Welcome to OHANAEZENDIGBO

Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo UK is Umbrella body of all Igbo organisation in the United Kingdom. The meeting of the Council of Igbo Communities UK, Nzuko Ndi-Igbo UK and Igbo Union UK and IRE held on Saturday 9th of July 2005 resolved to unite the plethora of Igbo societies, bodies, unions and organisations under one umbrella organisation - Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo UK. Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo UK aims to make a positive impact, primarily in the lives of Ndi-Igbo, by fostering unity among Igbo organisations, collaborating with other Nigerian Organisations and encouraging debate with, and supporting peaceful, positive forces that have interest in promoting justice, equity and good governance in Nigeria.

Our Aims

→ To serve as a focal point of reference, of direction and collective leadership as the official voice in matters      affecting the interests, solidarity and general welfare of Ndi Igbo in the UK.

→ To promote honour, dignity and self-respect among Ndi Igbo and encourage their achievement orientation      on various aspects of life.

→ To promote, develop and advance Igbo language and culture
